About the Artist

Lives and works in New York City, NY.

Mary Ann Strandell is a painter of note. Her works are a movable terrain between image, media and their myriad histories. She engages the poetic and technological experiences of urbanity and nature through her discursive use of montage, staging and the decorative.

Her upcoming New York exhibition, SOLACE, considers artists working inward to inspire a sense of calm.
